Danville Town Government
Town government is represented by an elected 5-member town council.
Also representing town government are a Plan Commission, Board of Zoning
Appeals and a Park Advisory Board.
The town has a 10-member police department with full E-911 dispatch.
All officers are Indiana law Enforcement Academy graduates.
Fire protection is served by a volunteer organization of 29 individuals,
with 5 pieces of fire-fighting apparatus and 2 rescue units.
The town also has 16 other employees who serve the street, water, wastewater
control and the Park Departments.
