Parks & Nature

The park is busy year round, but more so in the warmer months when young and old take advantage of picnic facilities, swimming pool, clay tennis courts, baseball and softball diamonds, a Little League ballpark, and football fields.

Blanton Woods allows families to experience nature firsthand with over 50 acres of marked trails including special trails for the handicapped.

State Parks. Two state parks and a recreation area, each with large flood control reservoirs for boating and fishing, are within 30 miles of Danville.
