Parks and Recreation

Finding something to do is never a difficult task in Danville. The town offers many community activities.

Ellis park, the municipal park, is a favorite place to go. The park is busy year round, but more so in the warmer months when young and old take advantage of picnic facilities, swimming pool, clay tennis courts, baseball and softball diamonds, a Little League ballpark, and football fields.

Blanton Woods allows families to experience nature firsthand with over 50 acres of marked trails including special trails for the handicapped.

Avid golfers will like the new Twin Bridges Golf Club. This golf course is under consideration for one of only a few Audubon Signature golf courses in the country.

"Symphony In The Park" is a favorite musical pastime in the summer, featuring the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra.
