Statement of Mission

The Greater Danville Chamber of Commerce has as its objectives:

1. To unite and promote the common business and quality of life interests of the community.

2. To promote new business and commercial growth, retention and expansion of existing business deemed beneficial to the community as a whole.

3. To engage in the education of the membership and of the public as to the objectives and services provided by the Chamber.

4. To be a working partner with the Town of Danville in promoting the common interest of the community in order to enhance the quality of life of its residents.

Meeting Schedule

General Membership: Second Wednesday of each month
11:30 a.m. at the Train Station in Ellis Park. This is a catered event so RSVP's are required and the price varies with the caterer. Interested parties are always invited and we encourage them to call the office so we have an accurate count for the meal.

2. Because of YOUR Chamber's affiliation and contacts with other business and professional organizations, outside information and assistance is available.

3. Contacts with various governmental offices and agencies provides easy access to needed data.

4. FAX capability provides quick access to Chamber resource material.

YOUR Chamber's close and working relationship with government - local, county and state - gives Shareholders a stronger and unified voice in matters of mutual concern.
